The BIG Green Commuter Challenge

The BIG Green Commuter Challenge took place during the week of Monday 16 to Sunday 22 May 2011.
Organisations and individuals competed against each other to see who could reduce congestion and pollution by travelling the highest number of miles in sustainable modes of transport. Winners will be announced shortly.
Although the competition is now closed for this year, it will be running again next year when it will be an opportunity to join with other organisations in Gosport to encourage a healthier environment and reduce emissions and congestion.
Commuting by more fuel efficient sustainable modes of transport will not only benefit your health and save you money, but will reduce the effects of climate change.
