Here you will find information on how to get to key destinations from different parts of the peninsular:

How to get to the ferry (A)

From Lee-on-the-Solent, take the 34/34a or 73/72/72a which run from West Point. The 34/34a runs approximately every half an hour and 73/72/72a runs hourly. There is also a direct cycle route running along Privett Road, Bury Road and South Street.

From Bridgemary take the 85 or 86 bus (running approximately every ten minutes). If cycling, use the cycle lane on Fareham Road and the cycle track on the old railway line.

From Rowner, take the 87 or 88 bus (both running approximately every half an hour). To cycle, use the cycle path on Rowner Road, which connects to the cycle track on the old railway line.

How to get to Fareham (B)

From Lee-on-the-Solent, take the 34/34a or 36 buses. There are also dedicated cycle lanes that connect Fareham to Lee-on-the-Solent via Privett Road, Grange Road and Fareham Road.

From Bridgemary, take the 85 or 86 bus (running approximately every ten minutes). To cycle, use the cycle lane on Fareham Road

From Rowner, take the 87 or 88 bus (both running approximately every half an hour). If cycling, there are dedicated cycle lanes along Rowner Road and Fareham Road

How to get to Queen Alexandra Hospital

From Gosport Ferry

A combined ferry and bus return ticket for Sail Bus routes between Gosport Ferry terminal and Queen Alexandra Hospital (route 20) or St Mary's Hospital (route 21).

From Fareham (C)

There are a number of First bus services that run from Fareham station to Queen Alexandra Hospital, including the numbers 1A, 5, 57 and 63.

The hospital is also a short walk from Cosham railway station. Trains run regularly from Fareham to Cosham, and Fareham railway station is a 10 minute walk from Fareham Bus Station along West Street.
