Gosport Walking for Health
If you need gentle exercise or just want out get out of the house for half an hour, these walks may fit the bill. The walk leaders have a knowledge of history and wildlife, which makes the walks more interesting and friendly.
The programme runs all year round, all the walks are free and are graded as to the degree of difficulty. There are nine walks in Gosport at the moment with three a week to choose from - Mondays at 11 am, Thursdays and Saturdays at 2 pm - varying in length from about 30 minutes to 90 minutes. The Gosport Millennium Trail
The Gosport Millennium Trail is a new project linking the Submarine Museum at Haslar via the sea front to the Explosion Museum. More information from the Gosport Tourist Information Centre, which can also sell you a leaflet for the intriguing Alverstoke Trail (60p).
